Doctor Morton Cooper in the US

I have read quite a bit about Dr. Morton Cooper in America who is a leading specialist in Spasmodic dyphonia. He uses his 'Direct Voice Rehabilitation' program and says that spasmodic dysphonia is related to misuse / incorrect use of your voice and by retraining the voice and using it correctly you can overcome SD. He does have quite a few good testimonials on his website and before and after audios.

It says on his website that his 'Direct Voice Rehabilitation' program suggests 4 intensive weeks with him, unfortunately I gave him a call and it costs $5000 per week!! so your looking at $20,000 (about £14,000) then your accommodation, food, transport etc for a month in Los Angeles. For me this kind of money is simply out of the question!

It seems there are a lot of people in the USA who specialise in Spasmodic Dysphonia but I can't seem to find any in the UK, does anyone know of anyone?

There are not many therapists in the US who adhere to treatment other than botox for SD.
