chest pains and SD

Hi
would like some advice about SD and chest pains my wife was diagnosed with SD 3 years ago and has lost her voice for 3 weeks at the moment for the 1st time in a year.She still tries to talk when she has lost her voice and complains of a very tight chest well yesterday we had to call an ambulance out because we thought she was having a heart attack.
Taken to hospital and all heart readings were ok and she recovered within a few hours but I'm wondering if anyone else has suffered this she had 3 stabbing pains in here chest going through to her back and when she loses her voice for more than a week it puts a strain on her chest and it tightens up.
